The personal story behind Nubia Esthetic

It all began with a search that should have been simple: finding a dermatologist!

There was no shortage of profiles on specialist platforms. Yet, as I made calls, the same answer kept coming back when I asked whether they treated Black skin: no. The search became a real struggle.

Passionate about skincare, aesthetics and advances in these fields, I continued my research and spoke with more people. One conviction became clear: the specific needs of Black and mixed-race skin, textured hair and the scalp deserve a greater place in professional training and practice.

That is how I first imagined Nubia Esthetic for professionals: a space bringing together specialised training and suppliers to help them develop their expertise.

The directory for individuals came later: bringing together professionals specialising in Black and mixed-race skin, textured hair and the scalp in one place, so that everyone can find a specialist suited to their needs more quickly.

Through Nubia Esthetic, I want to make these connections easier, highlight professional expertise and encourage the sharing of knowledge.

Because finding care suited to your skin and hair should be straightforward.
